Mide owns an Environmental Chamber, Thermotron Model SM-8, used to simulate varying environmental conditions. The chamber has been utilized to determine the coefficient of thermal expansion for prototype fibers, the insulation value of manufactured textile prototypes as well as to verify the the performance of electronics and actuators under thermal stress. This piece of equipment gives Mide extensive flexibility in the both our research and development projects and our manufacturing line.
