Mechanical Engineer / Aerospace Engineer

Mide is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Aerospace Engineer.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aero/Astro Engineering.

Experience: 0-5 years preferred. Responsible for the design, fabrication, and debugging of mechanical/electronic systems.

These responsibilities and requirements for this position include:

  • Hardware design, fabrication, testing, analysis, and technical communication
  • Good technical aptitude for design, analysis, fabrication, and testing of mechanical systems
  • Good software skills with appropriate tools, including one solid modeling platform, one detailed part drawing platform and one finite element analysis platform
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Work well in a team environment
  • System analysis, which may include structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, aerodynamic, magnetic, etc.

Project Manager

Midé is seeking a Project Manager. The following qualifications are desired:

Education: Preferably Master's Degree or higher. Mechanical or Aero/Astro Engineering background preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years preferred. Responsible for the design, fabrication, and debugging of mechanical/electronic systems.

The Project manager and/or principal investigator will be responsible for multiple research projects. He or she will be expected to acquire new business/research contracts by offering innovative solutions to engineering challenges.

Requirements: The successful candidate must be have the following skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communications skills, particularly in composing business proposals, and working directly with clients.
  • Extensive experience in research Project management.
  • Experience in managing engineering projects involving small teams.
  • Willing to work in a dynamic, adaptive environment in which technical focus is continuously changing.
