Prototype Development

Midé can design, develop, and test a turn-key prototype for your company. Our design team will follow the model shown below to iteratively arrive at a performance and cost optimum solution. Midé has a proven capability of rapid mechanical and electronic prototyping using either in house or certified local work shops.

Background

Since our founding in 1989, Midé Technology Corporation has served many companies in the important role as consultant. The flowchart at the top of the page shows the basic path that we follow when working with our customers.

The main reason Midé has been successful as consultants is our "team" approach. Midé conducts all consulting with a "we" attitude rather than “us-versus-them”.

We believe in customer driven requirements. For this reason, we have constant dialog with our customers to ensure we provide the results they are looking for.

Services

Our consulting services can be divided into two categories; problem solving through modeling /analysis, and prototype development.

Problem Solving through Modeling & Analysis

Midé's general approach, even for prototyping, is that, at a minimum, a basic understanding of the underlying phenomena is required to solve a problem or develop a new system. Midé personnel have extensive experience in the modeling of coupled static and dynamic systems including; compressible and incompressible fluid systems, structures, smart material systems, robotics, thermal, aeroelastic and nonlinear systems.

Midé personnel have strong backgrounds and experience in the control of electromechanical systems and have the capabilities to design and implement analog and digital controllers for the systems mentioned above.
